Preview of Mother’s Day E-card
I’m tired, I’m pooped, I’m handling 400 things at the same time. But Mother’s Day is around the corner, have you bought your mom a present yet? You should call her more often, you kids with your fancy super phones can at the VERY LEAST call her… now. Then again during Mother’s Day. Mom simply wants to know what you’re doing. Anyways, I’ve had a very bad history with Mother’s Day Ecards. Regardless of what I do with it, my mom is horrified with the results. “Robo-Pregnancy?” “Superhero Moms?” For this year, I’ve made a decision: I will simply ruin Mother’s Day on Purpose for my Mom
Introducing the Greatest Mother in the Natural World, the “Superboque Mantodea”. She will do anything for her children, as all moms do. The story is based on the time back in 4th grade our class had a pet female mantis, who gave birth to some beautiful children of her own… and being that we were a 4th grade class, the Mother Mantis & her young all died of starvation. It was tragic, and in their memory I have created this, in order to make up for the sins of my 4th grade self.
(In memory of Jeniffer, the mantis, who died a horrifying slow death at the hands of a ton of stupid children. (Photo may not actually be of Jeniffer, but of the first random photo I found on Google Image))
Mantises are like the cutest guys ever. Of all the creepy crawlies in the world, they’re so just dang adorable. I could hug them… but they’d probably explode from my ultra powerful human force. Special Voice Work was done by my pal, Neil Clingerman who plays the guy you see next to cutesy, Mantodea. Thanks Neil! Everybody should thank Neil. In fact, after you call your Mother, you should call Neil.
